  • Troposphere
  • Stratosphere
  • Mesosphere
  • Thermosphere
  • Exosphere

Layers of the Earth's Atmosphere

Earth's atmosphere has different layers. They are:

  • Troposphere - Above the Earth's surface and extends to 8 to 14.5 Km.
  • Stratosphere - Above Troposphere and extends to 50 Km high.
  • Mesosphere - Above stratosphere and extends to 85 Km.
  • Thermosphere - Just above the mesosphere and extends to 600 Km.
  • Exosphere - Top of thermosphere to 10,000 Km. It is the Upper limit of our atmosphere.
