The first is "Ben-Hur" who received 12 nominations in 1960, followed by "Titanic" from 14 nominations in 1998 and "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" received all of its proposals in 2004.
The Titanic: Titanic has the honour of having the most Oscar nominations of 14 tied with "All About Eve" and "La La Land". Titanic won 11, tied for the most wins with Ben-Hur and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.
