Field

An open area of woods and buildings is called field.

The definition of field is

"It is an area of open land, especially one planted with crops or pasture, which typically bounded by hedges or fences made up of wood and also includes some buildings in it."

Field is referred as an area of land used for agricultural purposes. Many farms have a field border, usually composed of a strip of shrubs and vegetation, used to provide food and cover necessary for the survival of wildlife. It has been found that these borders may lead to an increased variety of animals and plants in the area, but also in some cases a decreased yield of crops. Source: Wikipedia.org
