At every stop where you exit and walk around the vehicle, you have an opportunity to take a glance at tires and wheel lug nuts, check for lights that are “in use”, be alert for smells and/or hot brakes and for leaks or unusual noises.

Whenever you stop your vehicle, get out of vehicle and get a quick glance of vehicle. You may be able to find something which may lead to big problem.

Just a casual glance may catch something and prevent a larger problem.

It is best practice that at every stop where you exit, just walk around the vehicle, you have an opportunity to

  • Check for lights that are “in use”
  • Be alert for smells and/or hot brakes
